Request a search to be made of the probate registers and obtain an official copy of a Will. Our service covers any Will probated within England & Wales between 1858 to
2011
.
Our ordering process is simple:
1. All we require is the full name of the deceased, an exact or approximate date of death and the last known address or area of residence
2. We then personally attend the Principal Probate Registry in London for the purpose of making a thorough search of the Probate Registers
3. A copy of the Will (if available) is then supplied according to the service level chosen
A copy of a Will, also includes a copy of the Grant of Probate or Grant of Administration (this document states the name and address of the executors or the persons to whom the estate was administered and the total Gross and Net value of the deceased's estate).
Please note:
Our service is only for a copy of a Will that has been probated. Probate normally takes at least THREE months from the deceased's date of death. We therefore advise that an appropriate amount of time is given before a search is requested.
If the deceased died intestate (without leaving a Will) a copy of the Grant of Administration will be issued.
If no probate entry is listed an immediate part-refund will be made. For further information on probate, our service and our refund policy, please see the FAQs on our info & help page.
We protect your privacy. Under no circumstances are Executors, Administrators, Family or any other third-party informed that a search has been made or that a copy of a Will has been requested.
